Get to Know Me

Hello. My name is Moonika.
I believe that only with the heart can we truly see - and it is from there that the thoughts arise, which I express through poetry, songs, books, and paintings.

My creative work is born from life itself - from stories, emotions, and moments I have lived through or witnessed from the side. I hope that through my work, people can recognize themselves or find something that touches and supports them. Creativity is my way of keeping balance in life - a moment when the heart speaks and the hands follow.

My words also live in music. Many of them have become songs and can be heard on the YouTube channel GemSongsperformed by Mariah Moonrise and Josh C. Caels.

I was born and raised in Estonia and have also lived in Belgium for some time. Already as a child, I wrote poems, drew, and loved handicrafts - this was my way of understanding the world and expressing my feelings.

I studied at Koeru Secondary School and Tallinn School of Economics and continued my education at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Tartu, completing a psychology course that gave me a deeper understanding of human thinking and the inner world. In addition, I have attended various personal development and communication trainings and continue to learn. I believe that we grow and learn throughout our entire lives.

I have worked at Tallinna Kaubamaja, Ekspress Hotline, Eesti Ekspress, D.A.S. Legal Expenses Insurance, and Uus Maa Real Estate Bureau - always in roles where communication, empathy, and trust were at the center.

In 2017, my company Gemmon OÜ was born. Gemmon OÜIn its early years, I cooperated with several companies - helping bring new products into retail, working in advertising sales, and finding new clients for businesses. After that, I focused on real estate. Working in real estate has taught me how important it is to offer people personal and honest support - not just a service. I am listed in the Estonian Register of Real Estate Agents (reg. no. KMR73770).).

In 2025, I learned the art of publishing books, and my long-awaited poetry collection “I Can Love You from Afar” was published through my own publishing house, Gemmon Publishing. Today, Gemmon Publishing has grown into a place where I can also help other authors turn their dreams into books. I know how much courage it takes to share one’s creative work, and therefore my publishing house is my way of supporting and encouraging those who are just beginning their journey.

When I was diagnosed with rosacea in 2008, a deeper journey toward nature and healing began for me. It was not only about healing my skin, but a broader realization of how important it is what we apply to our bodies, what we eat, and what we surround ourselves with daily. I began to study product ingredients more consciously, avoid unnecessary chemicals, and experiment with making natural skincare for myself. This led to a conviction to live as naturally and purely as possible – not in opposition to medical treatment, but in support of myself.

During this time, I began to listen more deeply to my body, thoughts, and emotions, and realized that healing does not happen only on a physical level, but also emotionally and spiritually. This path naturally led me to the world of gemstones and crystals. Around 2013–2014, I increasingly felt how stones supported me - I sensed what kind of energy I needed at a given moment and which stone could help me with that.

From this inner experience grew my desire to create jewelry that would carry not only beauty but also meaning and impact. Under the brand Kejoree, handcrafted jewelry is created from this very feeling - I choose stones based on people’s needs, wishes, and life moments. For me, this is something far more than just jewelry - it is a supportive touch, a quiet presence, and intuitive work with energy.

I am married and the mother of three wonderful children. My husband is my greatest support - his faith in me and his presence have helped me discover myself and do what I truly love.
